The Brook wallpaper's coming along. I kind of have a crappy reference to work with so it's a little frustrating, but I'll get over it. Either way, I'd rather work on Brook than do homework. I mean, I like to read and everything, but my philosophy professor assigns us either the most boring (I'm looking at you, Descartes. I can't stand that guy.) or the most depressing shit ever, and when I get home from class I don't really want to visualize innocent children getting shot in the face or torn apart by hounds. Dammit Dostoevsky, I liked your Crime and Punishment better because yeah, it was depressing, but it didn't make me want to punch myself in the face. Couldn't we read that instead of The Brothers Karamazov? Really, I can't wait until that class is over. If my major didn't require the damn subject, I wouldn't have even taken it. Still, I can't help but ask myself what in the hell philosophy has to do with majoring in international languages.
That's lots of italics. Back to work.
